Case study on the subject of gendered jewelry for Wildthings Collectables
Jewelry has been around for as long as humanity. As far as we know, people have been making jewelry for 25,000 years. My vision is that we, in the western world, see and present jewelry in a binary way. This image is in our culture because we see certain characteristics as masculine and certain characteristics as feminine. In my opinion this needs to change.
How can Wildthings Collectables keep up with these gender equality trends and stand out in the mainstream jewelry industry?
My creative proposal consists of an online campaign and a follow-up in the form of a physical event. With this vision and communication you can address people in a more personal way and let their voice be heard. This way, a community can be created and customers will be more attached to the brand.
